The Dental Trauma Playbook
Sideline Preparedness Training for Coaches, Athletic Trainers, and School Nurses
The Blindspot for Student & Athlete Safety
When a adult tooth is knocked out, the clock starts immediately. The actions taken during the first 60 minutes can determine whether that tooth is saved or lost.
Athletic departments prepare for concussions. They train for sudden cardiac arrest. They practice emergency action plans for life-threatening injuries.
Yet when dental trauma occurs—a common injury in sports—many coaches, athletic trainers, and school staff have never received formal training on the critical first steps.
The Dental Trauma Playbook changes that.
Through evidence-based education, practical sideline protocols, emergency preparedness kits, and ongoing expert support, we help athletic programs respond with confidence.

Our Services
Think of it as CPR training for dental trauma.
The Dental Trauma Playbook's core offering is a one-hour, interactive training session for athletic trainers, coaches, school nurses, healthcare professionals, and sports medicine teams.
Led by a dentist with advanced training in dental trauma, this hands-on program prepares your team to respond confidently during the critical first minutes following a dental injury—when the right actions can mean the difference between saving and losing a tooth.
Participants will learn how to:
Recognize dental emergencies that require immediate action.
Properly handle and preserve a knocked-out (avulsed) permanent tooth.
Provide immediate sideline management of fractured, displaced, and loosened teeth.
Avoid common mistakes that can compromise long-term outcomes.
Activate an effective emergency response until definitive dental care is available.
Just as CPR training empowers people to act confidently during a cardiac emergency, The Dental Trauma Playbook training gives your team the practical knowledge and skills to respond effectively when a dental injury occurs
